Men’s Committee
Meet the 25 gentlemen responsible for the organisation of the University of Nottingham Men’s Hockey Club
Senior committee
The Senior Committee is made up of the 7 key roles that overlook all aspects of the club. The President coordinates all aspects of the club and focuses on development within key areas working closely with UoN Sport. The Vice President is responsible for supporting any administration that the club undertakes that is delegated to them by another committee role. The Club Captain is responsible for everything to do with the hockey, from fixture organisation to internal management of players, they work closely with captains and governing bodies such as England Hockey. The Treasurer oversees the club accounts working hard to keep the club financially stable allowing development in the direction the committee and university decide. The Welfare and EDI Secretary is the leader regarding player welfare and inclusivity, and works closely with captains and social secretaries to ensure all members are having a positive university experience. The Sponsorship Secretary focuses on maintaining relationships and generating income for the club to improve the member experience. The Publicity Secretary oversees all coverage of the club, this includes our social media, website, gameday experience and wider engagement with our audience and community.
General committee
The General Committee all have distinct roles that when combined, they manage the everyday running of the club. These roles cover all the way from Social Media Secretary who manages our social platforms, to our Just Play & IMS Secretary who overlooks our beginner and intramural program delivery. Without these busy roles the club wouldn’t be the professional outfit that it is today.
Captains
When it comes to the hockey, these are the leaders on the pitch.
